The bug only occur at version 5.2. Sergey, if I'm not mistaken, is part of the MySQL AB Team (the developers). So, your version is unlike to have this error as its a version specific bug (not present in 5.1, and fixed in 5.3), version 5 is in tests (if I'm not mistaken again) and has stored procedures, a great advantage to version 4.

I don't think your problem has to do with this, but you can give it a shot.
