Hi Benjamin. Thanks for the catch! Both gm:search and gm:text have a 'hint' attribute that allows you to specify their default text value -- the text that appears before the user enters any input in the field. We should have the documentation on these two modules updated soon.

Hallo,

I found an inconsistency between the GM tag reference
athttp://code.google.com/gme/reference.html and the example athttp://code.google.com/gme/samples.html#search

It says in the example description "The hint attribute allows you to specify some text that will be displayed in the search module before the user enters text.". The tag reference does not mention a tag "hint".
