Subject:[courier-users] famd error ?!?Actions...

Does anyone recognise the following errors?

Jan 25 21:43:26 obelix imapd: Failed to create cache file: maildirwatch (au@perimeter.co.za) Jan 25 21:43:26 obelix imapd: Error: Input/output error Jan 25 21:43:26 obelix imapd: Check for proper operation and configuration Jan 25 21:43:26 obelix imapd: of the File Access Monitor daemon (famd).

I can't find any reference to famd, nor to maildirwatch, among the courier documentation. This problem has only surfaced recently, and it does not seem to actually cause any problem - my imap access to my server SEEMS to be working, but the logs are filling up with the above messages repeated hundreds of times....

PS: I am on courier-0.44.2 installed from the FreeBSD ports collection. I have only noticed this message since the upgrade from 0.44.0 to 0.44.2, but I can't be certain that it never occured before.

Regards, Patrick.
