Susan raised a good question: What next with the Use Case(s)?
One view:
We are tackling Use Cases to gain insight and to refine
both the Methodology and the PMRM, not to necessarily
"solve" the Use Case. An approach to solutions will be a vital by-product,
however,
for credibility. An architecture and the specific mechanisms for
implementation are still needed.
We should tackle several Uses Cases internally (Smart Grid subset next?) ,
see what
we have learned, revise the Methodology (and PMRM),
then we can decide how to formally "go public".
Next week, Dawn will take advantage of an opportunity
given to us to make a BRIEF, panel presentation to the NSTIC Conference in
Boston,
on the 'tactics' being used in the PMRM TC; ie, the Methodology and PMRM.
This is billed as strictly works in progress and the presentation is high
level.
Our hope would be to draw others to the formative work.
Thoughts?
