Since the problem happens exclusively with Netscape, did you use --enable-workarounds from the configure script to see if that helps?

Well it's been a couple of days and I haven't seen any responses to this. Does anyone have any thoughts on my problem or would be willing to share their configs with me so that I can try and find out why I'm unable to use STARTTLS with POP and IMAP?
