ML> Quoting "WEB (frankfurt-m)" <fran@web.de>:

Hi folks, I've just installed courier-mta and courier-maildrop and i have almost no idea how to configure them. Since this is my first time configuring a mail-server I'm looking for a step-by-step Howto for maildrop/fetchmail. If someone knows where to find a good one, or is willing to help me in another way i would really appreciate it

thx, but the docu at marlow.dk didn't help that much :S i almost figured it out myself: i have created a filter: ~/.mailfiter/gmx

to "./Maildir/GMX

and i created a maildir in ~/Maildir called GMX (its not a folder) ~/Maildir/GMX but it wouldn't deliver the mails to the maildir GMX now i only created a folder, and it delivers the mails to the folder. Why's that?
