Maybe someone has encountered this problem. I AM a new user, but I have one co-worker in particular who has become rather good with the software, so I've also asked him:

When I use the mouse to draw a selection box to select objects, suddenly every object will turn black, including the sky. The ground will remain the normal ground color. I cannot get the normal view back without closing SU and re-starting it. I've already re-installed the software once, because of the same issue. I am using SU 6 (free). My co-worker, who has never had this happen, is using SU 5 (free).

I also have a Matrox Millenium G400 DualHead Max video driver. I am currently attempting to update this driver, but might this be a software problem? Everything else on my machine, including graphics programs and AutoCAD runs perfectly.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
