So... we use Courier IMAP and Courier Authlib on our mail system. I was wondering what the best way was to obtain the size of a user's maildir. I found the pages on Maildir++ but I'm a little bit confused as to how this interacts with Courier IMAP. None of our customer maildirs have a maildirsize file. Is there an IMAP command that can be issued in Courier to get the size of a maildir? If not, what's the best way to go about

this?

maildirsize gets computed only when you set a quota on the maildir.

quotaless maildirs don't have it.

Hmm... I see. I don't see how I'd create a quota'd maildir. I'm reading the documentation and there are some binaries that are mentioned (maildirquota) that don't exist on my sister. I'm using Courier IMAP 4.0.1. Is this feature not supported in this version?

There is no such binary called maildirquota.
