Ninad these "whining" is the "next move". I believe that ADC II will have a better judging process because of these forums. But I agree that we have to start working now for ADC II. These whining will ultimately fade away so just be patient.
Look at the positive results the "whining" did. For example, Google now gave us the rankings whereas before they did not plan it.

Agreed. But they laid out 4 specific criteria. I missed the part that one of the criteria was "what they want for the operating system". If that was correct, you are saying google and oha wanted for their OS to initially have apps like MyCloset, cooking app, call-a-cab and weather app?
i agree that some of the winner apps were quite a surprise and its hard to digest that our App was considered to be below them.
Little kids and whiners? Did you look at some of the losing
applications? Many of the developers for sure are professionals (e.g. plusminus, peli)
With due respect to all, did they build really something innovative? Think over it. Dont we get tom-toms n stuff for navigation? hows original is tht?
Losing in lottery is easy to accept since we knew that rules were strictly followed. If they have just said that winners will be selected by lottery then you will see no whining today.
True. But lets just start thinking on our next step. If you feel tht u hav a better App than the winners, then the users are definately gng to purchase yours n not of the winners. So its time to stop whining and start thinking of our next move!
