I know its no longer include, maildrop now uses authlib - maybe I wasnt clear enough:

Im using authlib and trying to compile maildrop, which will use authlib to communicate with mysql for virtual users if it finds authlib installed on the system. Ive tried everything to get maildrop to see the authlib libs but still it doesnt have mysql/virtual mailbox support.....

No, you were perfectly clear. What I am saying is that MySQL support has now been moved to authlib. As such you will not see any reference to it in maildrop anymore. What you are looking for is authlib support in maildrop.

$ maildrop -v | grep Authen Courier Authentication Library extension enabled.

If you are trying to verify MySQL support, you should be looking for it in authlib, not maildrop
