I was wondering if some of you super perforce user could clarify a couple things for me on Remote depots. We have to different servers each with their own depot in different states and on the remote site they have some header files that my developers here need. When I read about remote depots it appears to do what I need it to do, however I get a little confused as what I need to do.

Do I need to define a local & the remote depot here at my site that points same location respectively or do I just need to define a remote depot? From what I read I believe I have to setup both at my location but I'm not exactly sure and don't want to screw anything up.
