Hi all,

First time user of maildrop here. I thought a lot of people must have had a similar problem w/ mine, so I searched
the mailing-lists and I googled a lot, but w/o any results.

So, here comes:

Setup: qmail, delivery to maildir

Problem: mails received by user X from a certain sender must be forwarded to
user Y.

Attepted solution: for user X, .qmail contains |preline maildrop. .maildrop in /home/X contains a filter to match for sender, and if matched, it
executes "to /home/Y/.maildir"

Problem: maildrop complains it cannot create a dot-lock file -- I assume this is
because maildrop has no permissions to write to Y's home dir. I tried to forward
the mail to a directory writable by X and it worked fine.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

Best, Florin
