Ah ok. So the fix is working, but it's the plug-in that won't let you override its testng.jar with the beta one?

Code? I'm referring to the checkbox on the testng plugin that says to use the testng jar in the classpath (see attached image). The code in this thread should suffice. The fixes in your 5.8.1beta jar work when running via ant, but not when running via the pluggin.
