Here is a smalll, low quality QT video of a script I wrote that creates a chess board in animation. First, it creates the board flat, then extrudes each square, then it manpiluates the transparency of the materials, then it adjusts the Field of View out and way in and then back to normal. (I'm using demo software to capture the animation to video).

I am using animation.nextFrame and view.show_frame.
