I now have the down arrow instead of the "menu" text link.

Thank you for fixing this.

Hi Dann,

I don't need it to look the old way. I just want it to look the way it does when I'm not logged in.

I haven't seen the "Menu" option on my iGoogle page yet, but when I do I will try add an option to my iGoogle Skin gadget that will change it back to the old icons, for those who want it that way.

Hello,

I don't have any specifics on plans to change the interface back to the old way. However, we are aware of the negative feedback on this particular change, and might incorporate modifications in future updates.

Best, Dan

I agree! The minimize and delete icons were a lot better in those are things I use quite frequently (especially when developing and testing) and now I have to clickmenuthen minimize or delete. I don't see how this makes things easier or really better in anyway.

I was wondering also why I see it sometimes and not others so I checked on my w2k laptop using IE6 and FF2 and I get the icons over themenulink. On my one XP/MCE system I don't get it with FF1.5 but see it with IE7. Additionally, If I remember correctly I had themenulinkwith XPP
using FF2 also, so it seems to almost be browser and OS specific for some strange reason. You can maybe try different systems and/or browsers and see if you are able to find one to restore your familiar look and maybe confirm my findings also. :-)

But again, I would really like to see things back how it was for sure, instead of having to resort back to a w2k system or older browser.

Cheers! Vision Jinx
