Hi there!
I am upgrading from 3.x to 4.0 on Solaris 2.8 and am very interested in using
Control Center. As I understand it, the only way to Control Center for Solaris
is to compile the source. I tried to compile it and got an error indicating
that my_sql_realconnect is missing from a library (sorry, I don't remember
exactly which library it was.)
I went to the mysql site and dug a little and found that we need Trolltech's Qt
3.0.5 library. I don't know if these problems are related, but am disturbed to
find that I will need to purchase another (very expensive) license to get
Control Center (which I plan to use only here, in-house.) And then I will only
have a Beta version when I am done.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
thanks in advance for your help.
