When users integrate between branches, they will sometimes

In general, is there a way to disallow some files from being
integrated?
After the first branching is done you can try remove all
Makefiles from the branch view (not the client views)
by adding a line in the branch specification. This will
prevent users from integrating files in a branch without
affecting protections and clients. This may be a non ideal
solution, but thats all I know for the moment beeing.
See example below:
Branch: sharc_sm
Date: 1998/07/07 14:37:03
Owner: qsbpef
Description:
Bla bla.
View:
//depot/main/src/... //depot/rel1.0/src/...
-//depot/main/src/...Makefile //depot/rel1.0/src/...Makefile
Hope this helps!
