Thank you Mark. I've just installed JDK 1.3.1 and it solved my problem.

This looks like native code in the JIT somewhere failing. You might try using version 2.0.13 of the driver, as it might not touch off this bug, but I would definitely talk to IBM, as it's really an issue with their software. There is a JDK-1.3.1 for AIX as far as I know...Have you tried using that?

Hi, I have a really strange problem using MM MySQL Driver 2.0.11 with AIX 4 and JDK 1.3 When I try to execute a simple SELECT query with the driver I have the following error:

The assert sub function failed : is_op_int(soperand) && ((op_dunit(soperand) == NULL) || (Get_type_oprnd(soperand) == TP_INT)), fichier /userlvl/cadev/src/jit/pfm/ppc/aix/../../ppc/gen_objects_quad.c, ligne 350 SIGABRT 6 (*) abort process stackpointer=2ff202c8 SIGABRT 6 (*) abort process stackpointer=2ff1fcc8 Interruption IOT/Abandon

The query is working fine with Linux RedHat or with AIX when excuted from the mysql client. Has anyone encountered this problem before? Help much appreciated!!

Bye Julien
