« HTML content follows » Hello.

My setup: Courier MTA using local users

I have an alias (ex., 'alias1') is pointing to a local user (ex., 'realuser'). I wanted to make all mail that was intended for 'alias1' to be put in a specific folder under the Mailbox for 'realuser'. I tried editing the maildrop file for 'realuser' and the general 'maildroprc' but to no avail because  courier changes logname to 'realuser' before it gets to maildrop.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Create an alias "alias1: realuser-alias1", and install .courier-alias1 in realuser's $HOME.

See the dot-courier and makealiases man pages for more information.
