As Pedro A M Vazquez wrote:
Hello We're having serious visibility problems with freebsd.org:
set type=soa freebsd.org
Server: dixit.ansp.br Addresses: 143.108.1.17
*** dixit.ansp.br can't find freebsd.org: No response from server
dixit is the best connected site to US in Brazil.
This makes br.freebsd.org disapear completely and to generate several errors
Any idea?
Make the server for br.freebsd.org also become an official secondary for freebsd.org. Or make one central name server (if this is possible - i don't have a clue about your network topology) an inofficial secondary for freebsd.org. This would cause this server to give out authoritative answers on behalf of freebsd.org, instead of asking back at the official servers.
