Dunno how you get this value (e.g. this site has it for each user in LDAP), but it should be 25600000S, possibly with a C after that, depending on your taste (now where did I get that from?)

OK, but my last post also contained the contents of my maildirsize file, and it does indeed have an S. But that begs the question, am I using MySQL for the quota field? My authmysqlrc file says :"MYSQL_QUOTA_FIELD quota", so yes it is and I didn't even know it. I've been inserting it into the database without the S, because I thought it was just for display purposes. Well I've learned something new and it is off to the docs I go to see what I can find out about it.

Question, Barry Flanagan says: "up to now used Mysql and set the quota field to be concat(quota,'S')". Does that mean I can set MYSQL_QUOTA_FIELD to "concat(quota,'S')" and fix my problem?

Question 2, Why does it only complain when the mailbox is full?

Question 3, I had thought I was using maildirsize files to control the quota, and they are created automatically when a new mailbox is added to the system by our web administration system. Do I still need to create these? My guess is no, but as I said "off to the docs I go".

Thanks a lot for your help.
