I am wondering(due to the fact that I have no clue what you guys have been talking about) if I am barking up the wrong tree. What I want to do is take a database from my Linux webserver and access the same database to my webpage.

Perl (with the DBI and the proper DBD module) & PHP can do it, there are scripts out there too...

Not too sure about this but there are either links to the modules or you can download the DBI & DBD from the mysql homepage

Is this something that MySQL can handle? Can it

convert Microsoft Access webpages and transform them into a database MySQL can understand.

You can hook-up Microsoft Access to MySQL through ODBC you can download it at the mysql homepage

I have no clue to what I am doing. I got MySQL installed and

running but I don't really know what to do with it.

Why would you download a database program if you don't know what you're gonna do with it?

I read up on some of the

docs but I am not really that technical. So if anyone can point me into the right direction about using databases and webpages i will be eternally grateful.

eternal is pretty long dude...

Thanks, Scott
