Sam, I didn't know where else to submit this, and for a spec, it's easier to submit the whole file than a patch (which I can send if you want).

Changes are in the %changelog section, and mainly relate to modernizing things a bit and updating it to make it work better in fedora's build environment (and/or much easier to extract the distro-detection code if they won't allow it in their official spec, since I don't want to maintain a separate spec from yours).

The only lingering issues are in rpmlint, which complains about permissions (imho not a concern), chkconfig auto-enable (also not a concern) and lack of running ldconfig for the subpackages (library-without-ldconfig-postun). The last one is the only thing I didn't really know what to deal with, and am hoping you can provide me with a good reason that I can pass along if/when someone asks me about it during the package review process.

If you accept these spec changes, I'll continue my work with the main courier one.
