That could indeed be a bug. Just curious, if you deselect PDF and keep "Text ..." selected, do you still see PDF files?

Hi, when you selected "Text and other files" did you deselect PDF? Because initially you didn't have PDF indexing, you didn't have any PDF files in the index. When you selected it, an indexing process began for PDF files but didn't finish in time for you to see it in your test searches. Chances are it finished the job (or at least put some PDF files in the index) when you selected "Text and other files" so that's why PDF files may have appeared. Anyway i'll check for a bug myself and if i find anything i'll post here...
