Gadgets that use the Finance Gadget API for quotes are not embeddable in web pages other than iGoogle. They will display a "n/a" value for the data retrieved from the gadget.

Hi,

I'm actually confused about the licensing issues. Still wondering, google says the data is not owned by them thus not distributable, but then the Financial Gadgets are actually showing the actual stock prices (lets say once one owns 1 share). I thought the financial gadgets are supposed to be added to web pages accessible to public. So then the owner of the page practically redistributing the market data (lets say he has all the symbols of the exchange in his portfolio). He can then store these data in a local database thus keeping the detailed stock prices for his web site (e.g., here is my portfolio, BTW - here is also the stock prices :-P ).

Would you please clarify this,
