Nice gadget.

Is there any reason why you need to double click to enter/edit the main part of the note? I think a single click, as it is in the title area, would be more intuitive.

Hi All,

Following loads of feedback and suggestions, I've spent quite a lot of time - probably far too much time! - on a new version of my gadget. But I still need a little help!

Before I release it (and upgrade all of those who use v2.0) I would invite any user of this forum for feedback :-)

See below for list of enhancements. I am still struggling with one point in particular - the length of notes i.e. the max length of user prefs and how to save them. I've been experimenting with LONG notes i.e. 4096 - 8192 characters. The saving seems to fail silently still and this is a big problem for me since users don't generally like losing lots of data :-/ Any suggestions from any Google dudes about how to improve this performance or simply cap the note size to prevent loss would be most welcome.

Feedback welcome!!!

or, in case Google groups still chooses to truncate this
(GRRR!)http://tinyurl.com/yuhaqk

Please bear in mind this is only a test and is likely to change quite a bit yet so DON'T store anything really important on these notes just yet!

New Features: - More notes You can now have loads of much longer notes.

- Rich text editor uses a modified version of openwysiwyg

- Adverts yes they suck but you CAN actually turn them off! The frequency with which they are displayed is proportional to the number of notes you use too.

- Bug fixes Docking had a couple of bugs and also > 1 instances on a single tab didn't really work.

- Debug mode OK so this is really only useful for me but still... it uses mini messages any how

- Langauge support Hmmm well I only have one language file but if anyone would like to contribute then brilliant!
