Getting the administrator to set a password would resolve this. Don't know of another way. -Robert-

Hi If I know the username of the administrator, i can do the following steps and change the permissions(read/write/list etc) for any user. 1) set P4USER=admin (assuming admin is the administrator). 2) p4 protect 3) change the permissions.

In this case, perforce is not at all secure right? is there any way to control access to p4 protect?
