There are such limitation in the areas of operating systems that are as
friendly as Microsoft Windows XP and Vista. And for the gurus who know
a ton about computer's who use *unix of some form or fashion. *unix
gives the corporate area great security, and Microsoft owns the market
in desktop OS's and applications from home users to corporate
workstations. Linspire is trying to make a break into the general
public as an alternative desktop computer solution. However it is just
another form of *unix, just a different flavor.
With the talented people and resources that Google has, I am personally
curious to know if Google has or is considering coding their own
desktop computer operating system with emulation for both Mac and MS
Windows api solutions.
Would I pay for a Google Desktop OS? Considering what Google has
achieved, and the fact that they offer products without advertisements,
I would strongly consider purchasing an OS by Google.
I hope that there is a lot of interest in this topic. :)
