Thank you for your clarification. Yes, this behavior did change slightly between releases; user-created entries (i.e. entries created in {app} or {user} feeds) are retained only when the mashup has been published. If the mashup has not been published, these entries are cleared between tests. I apologize for the confusion.

Your suggested steps work fine for me, however .....

1. Select the Sample Map Wiki - from my list of Samples click on Test 2. A blank map presents itself which I populate with some pins and information (after authorisation) 3. Leave the Sandbox and return to the Editor 4. Irrespective of whether any changes are made to the source when I select Test, after authorisation I am met by an empty map. This is not how the Sample worked originally. 5. I have compared the source in the published Map Wiki linked to above with the one in my list and the differences appear to be trivial. I have placed the published source in the editor and run a couple of Tests and any data input is not retained.

Hope this makes it clearer

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by 'first run' and 'second run,' but please let me know if the following steps work for you:

1. Navigate tohttp://mapwiki.googlemashups.com/. 2. Click the pager's 'Next' link directly below the list of locations until it dims, indicating you have reached the end of the list. 3. Click the "Create" button near the upper-right corner of the map display. 4. Place your pin anywhere on the map display and enter a title in the information bubble that appears. 5. Click OK.

You should see the pin appear on the map display as well as a new item at the end of the location list. If you didn't see this before, it's probably because you had not paged to the end of the list. In this case, the pin will disappear immediately after it's created and won't appear until you page to the end of the list since the pins shown on the map display correspond directly to the entries shown in the list. You can also play around with the following simpler demo:

The first run of the Wiki works as advertised, however, the second run works just like the first - it presents a blank map. I am unable to retain/see any of the data entered in successive runs of the mashup.- Hide quoted text -
