OK, the requestor case is discarded, he won't receive email if he also closes the issue.

That makes sense, but still, I've detected this is happening with OTHER users who are in the notification list (requestor) but no issue_closed_comments email is added to the queue for them (ergo, not sent).

I forgot to mention that the requestor creates new Issue by sending email to associated email account, the issue is auto-created, and the requestor is added to the notification list. Then when other user closess the issue, the requestor not always receives the closed_comments email.

I searched the wiki for closing issues and life-cycle stuff but found no relevant info...

I'm thinking it could be something from my particular configuration (workflow, autocreation, smtp email-account...)

In my setup, (YYMV) Eventum does not sent email that an action happened to the person who did the action. So if I person closes an issue he will not get the notification because he knows what he did.

I've been trying to figure it out, when the Issue_closed_comments email is added to email queue.

When you close an issue, a Notification using template might be sent to the user (IF enabled in General Setup, IF enabled for that ticket for that user in notification list).

Additionally to the Issue_is_Closed Notification (using template), an email with the comments from the user who closes the issue MIGHT be added to the email queue (and later sent).

I say might, because it does not happens in every case, and I think this does not depends on configuration as with notifications, but on WHO sends and who closes the issue:

-Does it matters if the requestor exists as an eventum-user?

-Does is matters if the user who closes the issue is the same requestor (same email)?

-Does is matters if the user who closes the issue is an Admin-user associated with the project email account?

I've done lots of tests, and still I'm not sure what makes the closed comments email not being added to the email queue every time :/

Any hints greatly appreciated. Regards
