Here is my RSS feed turned Google Gadget. It is on the home page of www.maine.info at the top. It worked fine for months, then started to fail this weekend, and is totally dead this morning on April 30:

There have been NO code changes. Help!

Hey everyone,

Just to clarify, there are two types of gadgets: feeds vs. API. Feed gadgets pull from some RSS/Atom feed that users can add to their homepage. No development is required for these gadgets and they all use a standard template. API gadgets are externally hosted XML files described by the documentation and requires developers to define their own content, e.g. <Module><ModulePrefs>...</Module>.

There's some similarities between the two, but this problem seems to only be affecting the former type. This is not related to the Google Code hosting issues that was recently fixed and resolved.

Can people post URLs to their feeds that are affected by this?

Thanks!

Dann

I have a feed that a lot of people are running on their customized home page. It's a list of the newest files on our site. However, about 90% of the time when you click on the (+) next to an item it comes back with "Information is temporarily unavailable".

The feed still checks out ok:

At first I thought it might be a problem with some foreign characters sneaking in from time to time, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Any ideas on what I can do to resolve this? It's been going on for weeks now.

Thanks!
