Hi,

I am trying to import some .dbf files using a contributed program called "dbf2mysql". Some of the columns in the .dbf file contain french characters that I can visualize by opening the tables in the import utility. However, upon import to MySQL these characters appear as thick vertical lines and +, -, ' symbols etc. I have latin1 and latin2 installed and all the other standard char sets. Any help comments are appreciated.
