I'm using courier-imap with qmail. My client is MS Outlook. I have no problems sending and receiving messages. I am also using qmail pop3d. I have added only the IMAP account to Outlook and have no issues getting and sending mail with it.

My problem is this... when I delete a message, it appears in my Inbox with a line drawn through it. I checked the mail server and the message is still in my cur directory. It has a status of ST (########.####.mail.ruddynet.com:2,ST) I assume the S means sent/read?? and the T means deleted?? How do I actually delete the message from the server when I delete it from Outlook?
