Is it possible to use extended addressing with Courier IMAP? I am using Postfix with Courier IMAP and have Postfix configured to accept extended addresses of the form some@somedomain.com where I have a mailbox on the system for "some@somedomain.com" and Postfix seems to handl it correctly but Courier IMAP does not know what to do with it.

What, exactly, does postfix do with those messages?

I have it set up to use Maildrop to deliver to the IMAP mailbox. This works on one of my systems, but not on the other, I think the problem is that the company that sold me the machine set it up to use Courier MTA and Courier IMAP, no Postfix, but I prefer to use Postfix and Courier IMAP. Perhaps I should remove the Courier apps that came with the machine and install Courier IMAP myself. That would probably fix the problem.
