This is all imap is logging currently about the connection then it just drops off. I found this option for imap.cnf here -> IMAPDEBUGFILE I set it to a file in /var/log/imapdebug and chmoded it 666 and nothing is being printed into the log file.

IMAPDEBUGFILE logs post-login IMAP commands received and sent, only. If the server process dies immediately upon a connection, that usually indicates an installation problem.
