I've just rebuilt mine, adding --enable-clear-passwd, --enable-learn-passwords and --enable-file-sync. Of these, the only one that would seem to be able to make a difference (at least on the surface) is --enable-learn-passwords. I'll see how it goes...

And another thing... I don't know about the rest of you, but I dislike the way current Courier versions try to push you into running one big 'userdb'. I prefer the idea of having separate authentication databases per virtual domain, so database disasters don't take _everyone_ out!
