Hi Guys,
I was just wondering if we could have a master workflow which will initialize
the child workflows. Once the child workflow starts it has to report to the
master wf at the begining of each step/action that it is starting this
perticular sep and action and also send a message to the master wf when it has
completed a step/action. We are thinking of using MQ Series to send the
messages.
The Master Workflow may have to persist this info into the DB. The reason we
need a master wf is because of end to end tracking. We are going to have three
diffrent workflows processing a file and we to tie these three workflows
together so. that we will know what happened to the file.
So, now my q is could we do this in OS Workflow. Can we have an action is os
workflow which receives queue messages like a Message Driven Bean or something.
I would really appreciate it if you guys could throw some light on this.
Thanks, Sri
