Yes, and it's out of the question. Really, I don't see the big deal with folders showing up eight pixel to the right from their usual location. This is not the end of the world.

Other than that Netscape will not be able to use Sent, Draft, or Trash folder on the server.

Peter, I have a patch in the works (almost finished, time restrains, you know) that you could try out. I will be posting it shortly (probably this weekend). I am making it to cope with a similar situation.

All the patch does is to add an option in imapdrc which enables private folders at top level.

Sam, I'm not trying to override your ruling principle, it's just that it's a real world problem that some of us are trying to deal with in a pragmatic way.
