I have been running Sqwebmail on a Debian server for several years with
no problem. However, I am trying to get a new server running on Ubuntu,
and I want to use Sqwebmail again. I installed the Ubuntu distribution
(version 0.60.0-2ubuntu1), and it works -- but -- for some reason the
user's interface display won't show any of the graphics. So it's kind
of ugly.
I looked in the folder /usr/share/sqwebmail and found it empty. I tried
reinstalling the program, but it made no difference.
I went to my Debian machine and took out everything in the corresponding
directory (style sheet, png's etc.) and put it all into the empty
directory on the Ubuntu machine. Same result -- it didn't help.
Does anyone know how to get the Ubuntu Sqwebmail interface graphics to
work properly? Does anyone know why the Ubuntu Sqwebmail won't work
properly for me out of the "box?"
If you're using a prebuilt sqwebmail package for Ubuntu, did you try
contacting the package's maintainer. If you built it yourself, the relevant
configure script options are --enable-imagedir and --enable-imageurl
