Hello, I just set up a Courier-based mail server in my home network. All packages are from latest Debian Sid:

$ dpkg -l | grep courier ii courier-authda 0.47-13 Courier Mail Server - Authentication daemon

This is ancient code that nobody cares about, any more.

Looks like the mail was delivered... But it never arrives in hans' maildir. Could it be a problem that my domain name is just "local", without any dot in it?

No.

Any ideas?

Maybe this account's mail filter ate it.

Check your $HOME/.courier file to see how mail gets delivered.
