This is a prehistoric version of Courier. I don't recall when maildrop filtering was added to Courier, but check your INSTALL file. By enabling maildrop filtering in webmail you also get a simple autoresponder facility that can be used for vacation messages.

i would like my users to have a nice web interface to set up their own vacation messages
