Hi Again:
Actually I just solved my own problem .. I wasn't using a client that
supported Connector/Net.
Cheers,
Hello:
I do hope that someone can help me out with this problem as it seems
really quite stupid, but I can't figure it out for find anyone else
who has had the same problem.
Have been using MySQL cluster now 4.1.11 in a test environment for
several weeks now and am very impressed with the system.
Thus far I have only been using a default test user with no password
to access the data in the cluster - but now that we are going to go
live with it, I need to create a higher level user with password.
I have added a user editor to the mysql user table and flushed the
permissions of all the mysqld machines in the cluster but no matter
what I do, I cannot seem to be able to log in as that user neither on
the localhost or from external.
Is there a separate users or permissions table in the cluster that I
am forgetting to update? I greatly appreciate any help as I am
getting very frustrated.
Cheers,
