G'day Sterling, I've seen what you mean having both listed in the same directory. The problem we and I'm sure many others will have is mapplets require different design and functions than a dedicated igoogle gadget. Our port mapplet has large infowindows which simply don't work in a gadget environment. Mapplets shouldn't be dropped into the same bucket as regular gadgets, it should be a manual submit for the developer.

I've seen your daylight map gadget too, very nice...

list though). I also added it to the iGoogle gadget directory where it's been accepted but now need to remove it as it's not tailored for that environment. What's the best way to do so

Unfortunately, I'm not sure you can get it removed from the gadgets directory. There's a funny melding of the two directories; take a look athttp://www.google.co.uk/ig/directory?q=clouds&btnG=Search+Homepage+Co...

The second and third listings are both mine. One's a gadget, one's a mapplet, but they've both only ever been submitted to their own directories. They just both appeared in the one directory on their own.

Dan, any comment?
