Bryan,

After these error messages, in the same screen, I got the contents of a normal login screen. After entering my login info, I got the following error messages:

Can you help? I am sorry, but I don't understand what all these messages mean.
Thank you,

Joseph,
You need to install the gettext PHP extension for the latest snapshot to
work.

I've been trying to upgrade a couple of installations in my local machine as a prelude to doing the actual installations. We are running both 1.4 and 1.6.1, and I used today's snapshot since it's got several of the upgrades that we need.
On the upgrade to the 1.4 installation, I see no differences whatsoever, as if the upgrade never took place. Also, the revision level, in the bottom left hand corner of the screen, remains at 1.4. The only thing that I didn't do was the alteration of the table to drop the roles column in the users table, which is requested after the upgrade to 1.5 (I believe). I figure it wouldn't matter whether it is there or not.
On the upgrade of the 1.6.1 installation, at the end of the installation I get a blank page. So, I enabled the display of errors and I got these: Notice: Use of undefined constant APP_DEFAULT_LOCALE - assumed 'APP_DEFAULT_LOCALE' in <path-to-eventum>\include\class.language.php on line 66
Notice: Use of undefined constant LC_MESSAGES - assumed 'LC_MESSAGES' in <path-to-eventum>\ITHelpDesk\include\class.language.php on line 68

Fatal error: Call to undefined function bindtextdomain() in <path-to-eventum>\ITHelpDesk\include\class.language.php on line 69
Could somebody help? Bryan? Both installations of Eventum use Apache 1.3.33, PHP 5.0.4, and MySQL 4.1.10a (WAMP 5, v. 1.4.4), which is what we are using in the Linux server running the real installations.
Thank you,
