I know that this is a developer forum but I've no idea where else I can say this:

I wish Google Desktop were a more powerful platform. I wish we could watch flash movies in the desktop: It would be like having a mini TV in the top corner of your screen to look at while you work. Using the details pane just doesn't do.

You can't use maps in the desktop either which is a shame. Please make Google Desktop Gadgets more capable.

Also I wish there was an ideas forum for users and developers to suggest and discuss new features for the desktop. Its a platform that has a lot of potential
