Subject:[courier-users] Use of the $USER variable in aliasesActions...

I have virtual users in mysql, I'm curious as to what the $USER variable will expand to.

I'm trying to set up a system wide alias for dspam, that is like:

dspam: |/usr/local/dspam/bin/dspam --user $USER@$HOST --addspam

But I'm not sure if I need the $USER@$HOST since my user names are na@domain.foo.

So, will this type of alias work, and if so, what will $USER expand to?

Was I helpful? Let others know: http://svcs.affero.net/rm.php?r=jkeating
