It it possible to install Google Gears on Windows box without administrator privileges? I'd like to play with Google Gears to figure out if it'll work for our application. Unfortunately, in our environment EVERY application that developer wants to install even as try-out, has to go through the security testing which is many month ordeal. So I'm also wondering if Google Gears will even work without communicating with Registry?
