Subject:[courier-users] authvchkpw gets skipped overActions...

Good day, I have a Redhat 6.0 machine and have been running courier-imap-0.14 for quite some time. I would like to upgrade in order to take advantage of the new SSL support and the imap-client bug workarounds. I am using the vpopmail add-in support for Qmail to do virtual mail accounts. I cannot get the new version (0.34) to compile the authvchkpw library in order to support vpopmail authentications. The documentation says that I should be able to just do

./configure make check make install

and the configuration scripts will automatically detect that I have vpopmail installed (it is in the default locations). This does not work. I have also tried

./configure --with-module=authvchkpw

In both cases the process seems to go fine, and I do not see errors. However I never end up with a authvchkpw library. It is as if it gets skipped over. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
