What exactly are you wanting to do with the API ?

I want to write a simple user interface so my client can click a button to download their googlebase items then list the items sorted by the number of impressions or the number of clicks.

There are 700+ items listed so far and thousands of possble items to add eventually. Analysing which items are the most popular may help to decide which items to list next.
