Hi anyone,

I’ve not been able to login to the mail server thru the web interface, getting a “Unknown Username and Password”

No problems popping and sending mails with mail clients like MS Outlook, Netscape Messenger.

I’ve checked and do have the following processes running:

Courier Imapd Esmtpd Pop3d Authdaemond

Previously, there were problems access the cgi which got installed from the entire courier package and so I re-installed Sqwebmail on its own and now access to the cgi is fine.

All test users I tried out had system logon passwords and authentication was done via userdb.

Did I miss out anything here? Could someone please enlighten me?
